They are solidly constructed and dynamically balanced, for use in extruding, drawing, tinning, stranding, bunching, enameling and spooling. Bomco V-Groove Sheaves may be used optimally in the manufacture of wire and plastic or rubber tubing. Standard-duty sheaves are available in hardcoated aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Where light weight is required, use our aluminum sheaves, which are also available with special coatings. Heavy-duty sheaves are available in aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Bomco's special overlapping feature prevents wire from dropping between sheaves during string-up of multi-strand configurations. Custom sheaves can be designed to meet your specifications for size, weight, bearing size, groove design, material and coating.
