	Wide V Sheaves Bomco's Wide V-groove Sheave easily accommodates the wide fleet angle encountered when cable is paid-off from or wound onto large spools. Additionally, the full depth of the groove improves cable tracking. The lightweight, hardcoated aluminum construction of Bomco's Wide V Sheaves reduces inertia and drag, and provides excellent tension control. These special sheaves are dynamically balanced for stability even at high-speed operation. All Bomco Sheaves permit smooth payout and take-up, improve tension control, and resist wear, heat, oxidation and corrosion. They are solidly constructed and dynamically balanced, for use in extruding, drawing, tinning, stranding, bunching, enameling, and spooling. Bomco Sheaves may be used optimally in the manufacture of wire, plastics or rubber tubing, and fiber optic cable. Standard and heavy-duty sheaves are available in hardcoated aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Special coatings are also available on all sheaves. Bomco's special overlapping feature prevents wire from dropping between sheaves during string-up of multi-strand configurations. Custom sheaves can be designed to meet your specifications for size, weight, bearing size, groove design, material, and coating.
